Colleen Shogan (National Archives and Records Administration), Natalie Jackson (GQR), Meghan McConaughey (APSA), and Beatriz Rey (POPVOX Foundation) moderated by NCAPSA Councilmember, Dr. J.D. Rackey (Bipartisan Policy Center). 

2024 NCAPSA Member Tour of the National Archives

Thank you to all the NCAPSA members and their guests who joined us on ​Tuesday, March 5th, at 9am U.S. Eastern Time, for a special Tour of the National Archives for NCAPSA members preceded by a meet-and-greet with the Deputy Director, William Bosanko, followed by a coffee social on-site at Charters Cafe. 

2024 NCAPSA Virtual Book Roundtable

Thank you to all who joined the National Capital Area Political Science Association for its Friday, April 19 virtual roundtable discussion at 1pm U.S. Eastern Time of “Bipartisanship and US Foreign Policy: Cooperation in a Polarized Age.” Moderated by NCAPSA Past President Lauren Bell (Randolph-Macon College) and featuring a welcome from NCAPSA President Katherine Robiadek (Xavier University), panelists discuss Jordan Tama’s (American University, NCAPSA President Emeritus) recent book. Panelists include:

Lester Munson (BGR Group, former Staff Director of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee) 
Daniel Silverberg (Capstone, former National Security Advisor to House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer)

2024 Inaugural APSA-NCAPSA Workshop & Annual Business Meeting

The American Political Science Association (APSA) and The National Capital Area Political Science Association (NCAPSA) are pleased to have co-hosted for political scientists and practitioners the first succesful single-day workshop held at the APSA’s Headquarters in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, October 5, 2024, followed by the NCAPSA Annual Business Meeting culminating in a celebratory reception.
