American Politics Workshop
The NCAPSA American Politics Workshop is a one-day research workshop that takes place once a semester, usually in January and May. Like the other NCAPSA workshops, it rotates among DC-area universities. It usually involves two paper presentations in the morning and two more after lunch. Its coordinator is Danny Hayes (George Washington). The January 2023 meeting was held at Georgetown University.
Gender, Race, and Ethnicity Politics (GREP) Workshop
The DC-Area Gender, Race, and Ethnicity Politics (GREP) is a one-day research workshop that takes place once a year. Like the other NCAPSA workshops, it rotates among DC-area universities. The coordinators are Jamil Scott (Georgetown University) and Shannon McQueen (George Washington University). The Spring 2022 meeting was held at Georgetown University.
International Relations Workshop
The Washington Area International Relations Workshop is a one-day research workshop in which 3-4 papers are presented and discussed. It is held once a year. Like the other NCAPSA workshops, it rotates among DC-area universities. It is currently on hiatus, but may resume regular meetings soon.
